Westmount Hebrew prides itself on its dedicated team of staff. Our top-notch educators and assistants are carefully selected for their experience and dedication.

Morah Shoshana

Curriculum Director

Morah Shoshana has a master’s degree in Jewish education and a master’s degree in special education. She brings her seventeen years of teaching experience to Westmount Hebrew!

Morah Devorah

Kitah Bet (KG & Grade 1)

Morah Devorah is a veteran educator, with over twenty years of experience in the classroom. She serves as the director of education at Chabad Westmount. In her free time, she enjoys reading & having fun with her grandchildren.

Morah Hadassa

Morah Hadassa currently teaches Judaic studies at Yavneh elementary. During the summer, she directs a camp for pre-teens. She infuses her class with her trademark creativity and energy. Her hobbies include playing music and art.

Morah Rivkah

Kitah Gimmel (Grade 2 & 3)

Morah Rivkah brings her experience as a Hebrew School teacher to Westmount Hebrew. She looks forward to use her background in marketing to infuse technology & creativity into her classroom.

Morah Myriam

Hebrew Reading coordinator

Morah Myriam is a veteran teacher and Hebrew Reading “Kriah” specialist. She currently teaches in Yavneh Day School, where she founded their innovative & acclaimed “Kriah Reading room.”

Rabbi Nochum

Thousands of children around the city have enjoyed Rabbi Nochum’s interactive & engaging Jewish workshops. He brings his experience teaching & presenting in schools all over the city, including Akiva, JPPS, Solomon Schechter and many more.

Morah Menucha

Menucha studied Jewish philosophy and education at Beit Chana College in Tsat, Israel. Menucha is a classroom teacher for second-grade students here in Montreal. Menucha has a passion for Jewish education, and her goal is to instill in her students a love for learning and the Joys of Judaism

Morah Aviana

Aviana Dahan has taught virtually for the last five years in schools, including the Nigri International Jewish Online School and Hartford Hebrew School. Her favourite subjects are Jewish Heroes and Jewish history!

Rabbi Ariel

Rabbi at Westmount Hebrew

Rabbi Ariel is a native of Melbourne, Australia and was raised in Israel. He earned his Rabbinic degrees in France and New Jersey. Rabbi Ariel serves as the youth Rabbi at Chabad Westmount. He brings his signature passion and excitement to Westmount Hebrew.

Morah Mushky

Founder & Director, Westmount Hebrew

Morah Mushky was born and raised in Montreal, QC and received her degrees in education and teaching at BCM teachers college. She has travelled the world teaching and directing summer camps and school programs. Mushky currently serves as the program director at Chabad Westmount and is the founder and director at Westmount Hebrew.
