In this lesson, we learned about the Mitzvah of Mezuzah.

On the agenda:

• We met a Sofer (scribe) virtually. We enjoyed practicing to write the letters with a feather & ink.
• We played a treasure hunt & searched for Mezuzot around our homes.
• We constructed our very own Mezuzah out of lego.

In this lesson, we learned about our Jewish names & birthdays.

On the agenda:

• We explored the lunar calendar & calculated our Jewish birthdays.
• Every student received a personalized Jewish birthday certificate.
• Discovered the meaning of our Jewish names.
• Created mask chains with the Hebrew letters of our Jewish name.

In this lesson, we learned about Kibud Av V’em.

On the agenda:

• Explored the Mitzvah of Kibud Av V’em, through stories from the Talmud.
• Interactive Review Game Show.
• We created pottery, which was picked up from our students’ homes & brought to the kiln to be fired up & glazed.

In the lesson, we explored the holiday of Chanukah.
